This system is designed as a rehabilitation device to be applied during the functional magnetic resonance imaging. MRT compatible devices can be operated inside the strong magnet field of the machine to examine the effect of physiotherapeutic exercises. The requirement: The bidirectional compatibility between MRT and rehabilitation device – the imaging process does not have to be disturbed. igus® offers a solution with its non-magnetic parts: Polymer bearings made of iglidur® B180 with glass balls are loadable, non-conductive and lubrication- and maintenance-free.
