igubal® rod end bearing with internal thread
igubal® rod end bearings are corrosion-resistant and can be used without problems even under rough conditions. In humid or wet environments, they are resistant to weak acids and alkalis. The insensitivity to dirt and dust should be emphasised.
Housing made of igumid G, particularly impact-resistant, long-fibre reinforced polymer. Suitable for temperatures from -40 °C to +90 °C for a long time.
In the standard spherical bearings, the spherical ball is made of iglidur® W300, a material that is characterised by lowest coefficients of friction in dry operation and extremely low stick-slip tendency. The latter is particularly important with low loads and very slow movements.
- Maintenance-free dry running
- Particularly cost-effective
- No lubrication
- High rigidity
- Very high fatigue strength under varying loads
- Compensation of misalignments
- Compensation of edge loads
- Insensitive to dirt, dust and lint
- Resistant to corrosion and chemicals
- Can be used in liquid media
- High damping capacity
- Suitable for rotating, oscillating and linear movements
- Inner rings with very low backlash
- Very low weight
Typical areas of application:
- Bicycle construction
- Plant construction
- Packaging
- Offshore
