Bearings with igubal® spherical insert bearings are 80% lighter than their metal counterparts and yet comparably robust. At the same time, they are up to 40% more cost-effective. The igubal® spherical insert bearings are available in various high-performance plastics, each with different specifications. The iglidur® J polymer appeals with low moisture absorption, and another high-performance plastic has also been developed for the food sector, which can be detected by metal detectors and increases product safety.
